We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life.  Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snow storms, an illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment.  In our desire to be effective and fair to all our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

  • 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. this allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
  • If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.  This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

Home Visits and Out-Calls

In home and office visits are a service we provide to our clients.  Out-calls have the following service policies.

  • A credit card is required to reserve your appointment time.
  • First time in home/office appointments must be conducted at the address associated with the credit card used to hold the reservation or a place of business during the business’ regular business hours.
  • First time clients will be asked to provide their picture ID and have their picture taken for our records before the service begins.
  • A responsible person, other than the client receiving the service, must be available for any children at the location.
  • Pets must be secured during the service.
  • Clients who are absent from the home or business when the therapist arrives will be considered a no-show.

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.”  The will be charged for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

Arriving Late

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you.  If you arrive late your appointment may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours.  Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will the determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment.  Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.

Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other please plan accordingly and be on time.

We look forward to serving you.
